Asset Walkdown Tool
The Walkdown tool is a Microsoft® Access® database that enables technicians to develop and validate equipment hierarchy, perform field collection of attribute information, and complete the set up work needed for BOM and PdM technology databases. This tool allows the user to define each piece of equipment as it relates to the ISO 14224 Standard dealing with hierarchy and facilitates the collection of component attributes that support PdM database builds and any BOM or engineering requirements.
Asset Criticality Ranking Tool
The iReliability™ Asset Criticality tool is a Microsoft® Access® database that prompts the user with a series of questions that represent the interests of different aspects of the organization. An accurate criticality ranking enables reliability leaders to determine maintenance strategy, prioritize work orders, and make better overall risk management decisions. A key feature of this tool is the ability of the various business unit leaders to customize the analysis questions and answers.
This module is the hub of an integrated approach to designing and implementing a failure modes-driven reliability strategy, returning results in a fraction of the time of traditional RCM methods via a convenient and easy-to-use RCM Blitz® wizard. Work orders are generated, ensuring effective communication and tracking, and individuals are assigned specific tasks and durations for participation. Likewise, each resulting task/action that is identified through the RCM Blitz® process can be assigned to individuals for execution. This ensures that RCM is not only performed, but implemented. Viewed as traditional RCM methodology, RCM Blitz® is fully compliant with the SAE RCM Standard JA 1011 while engineered to be quick and extremely effective.
Asset Health Matrix Tool / Equipment Maintenance Plan Tool
The iReliability™ Asset Health Matrix/Equipment Maintenance Plan tool provides a starting point for Failure Mode Analysis by utilizing the most common failure modes in asset components and parts to identify which mitigating actions or defect identification strategies could apply to the asset and establish a baseline. It further assists in the ongoing implementation of a failure mode-driven maintenance strategy by validating the current program for the balance of the plant – those assets not included in RCM analysis based on criticality. With an extensive failure mode library assigned at the part level, all failure modes have assigned PdM, PM, and Lubrication activities already mapped.
Root Cause Analysis
This module allows users to identify and quantify root causes within their facilities. Offering both 5 Why and Logic Tree Analysis, the module steps users through a comprehensive wizard to ensure consistency and completion. All items are captured and displayed within appropriate diagrams that are interactive with easy drag-and-drop functionality. Each item can also generate activities or work orders to instantly identify corrections that must be made and are captured as results of the RCA.
This module allows users to identify problems related to processes that have a significant impact on cost and determine if those problems are a reliability issue or production process issue. Process Reliability is an excellent way to determine the level of variability and reliability of a process because of the ease of collecting required data, and the graphical way that process information is displayed on a single report. iReliability™ provides Process Reliability Plots and Reports (a special variant of Weibull Plots) that tell the story using daily first quality production output values to determine the level of variation and reliability of a given process.
